The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) had announced the reopening of it’s borders for tourists on the condition of receiving a negative COVID-19 test and following the 14 days quarantine measures which have been imposed. Travellers can quarantine in their homes or hotel room for a time frame of 14 days and must do so, even after receiving a negative test result for COVID-19.

Certain fines  and penalties will be imposed for those who do not follow the guidelines upon arrival to the capital.

As per the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the rules for quarantine and self-isolation for visiting have been emphasized below.

Three months after Dubai’s borders opened back in July, Abu Dhabi’s borders opened.

A statement issued also said “The Abu Dhabi Crisis, Emergency and Disasters Committee requires international travellers to Abu Dhabi to disclose the date of entry into the country at check points designated for international travellers at all ports, and to adhere to approved quarantine guidelines,”
