Saturday, February 18, the Bahrain Fort Site Museum (Qal'at al-Bahrain Site Museum) celebrates fifteen years since its establishment.

The Qala'at Al-Bahrain (Bahrain Fort) Site Museum, which was inaugurated in February 2008, aims to preserve the site's historical historic elements while also recording various archaeological eras via the preservation of artifacts that have been found there. A stunning coastline and rich vegetation that has evaded urban development surround the museum, which is located on the Kingdom of Bahrain's northern coast.

To emphasize the value of Bahrain's legacy and human history in upgrading its cultural infrastructure, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Authority (BACA) has planned a program to celebrate the 15th anniversary.

A guided tour of the museum and the fort of Qal'at al-Bahran is part of the program, which also includes a workshop on the excavation and restoration of ancient artifacts. The tour begins at 9:00 am for the kids.

At 7:00 p.m., a pleasant musical performance by the talented Mohammed Asiri band group is also scheduled to take place.

In 2005, the historic Qal'at al-Bahrain became the first Bahraini location to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
