Bahrainis will be proud to know that Bahraini engineer Aisha Alharam became the first Bahraini winner of the “20 Young Leaders Under 35” Award 2023 presented by the Space and Satellite Professionals International (SSPI).

In the field of space, Alharam has developed various innovative technologies such as satellites that can monitor the environment, track natural disasters, and provide communication services to remote areas.
The winners will be honored and celebrated at the eighth Annual Future Leaders Ceremony this October during Silicon Valley Week in California, USA.
