Al Hosn App is Now The UAE's National COVID-19 Vaccine Registry

During a government media briefing on Tuesday, Dr. Al Hosani, the health sector's spokesperson, said that The Al Hosn app has been updated to become the UAE's national COVID-19 vaccine electronic registry.
Al Hosani clarified that the data available on the app is considered as certified official document.
.@ADPoliceHQ requests the public to activate @alhosnapp to facilitate entry to the emirate, in-line with the updated procedures issued by the Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, which requires showing the result and type of test on @alhosnapp from Monday, 1 February.

She also highlighted that the new variants tend to spread faster and are more infectious, but they don't appear to be causing a more serious disease or a higher mortality rate.
The Ministry of Health urged all UAE residents aged 16 and over can to book their appointments for free COVID-19 vaccinations at any of the 205 designated vaccination centres.
However, residents should still book appointments prior visiting a vaccination centre unless they are from the vulnerable categories who can get the vaccine on a walk-in basis.

The UAE has to date administered over 7 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, at a net distribution rate of 72.61 doses per 100 people.
