Al Meera Embarks on Digital Transformation to Enhance Expansion
Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (a Qatari public shareholding company) has entered into a partnership agreement with the International Technology Company (SAP) listed on the New York Stock Exchange with the symbol /SAP/ and the executing company Tata Consulting Services, to obtain cloud solutions that will help it implement its expansion plans and enrich the experience of customers and employees, through its sixty stores.

A statement issued by the company, published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website today, stated that under the agreement, Al Meera will be adopted by the (RISE with SAP) platform, in order to accelerate its transition to an advanced cloud environment, and the company will implement solutions that include enterprise resource planning via the “Azure” platform from Microsoft. Microsoft Azure.
The company indicated that the comprehensive digital transformation project will enable it to take advantage of the advantages of cloud computing and automated business processes, in addition to providing innovative solutions to manage employees, improve visibility, and the ability to control all operations and activities.

He pointed out that the company’s use of digital S/4HANA solutions enables it to quickly share with stakeholders information related to inventory, supply chains, human resources, and other business processes across the company’s growing network, giving it the ability to make informed decisions very quickly to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of its customers and employees at all times optimally.
Al Meera chose to implement this project" SAP" and "Tata”, which are considered among the world's leading companies in information technology services, consulting, and business solutions, given the extensive technical experience enjoyed by both parties and their track record of achievements in the retail sector.
Also, the selection of " Rise with SAP" came in response to Al Meera’s requirements in terms of ensuring continuity of operation and proceeding with the implementation of a rapid and sustainable digital transformation plan, accelerating the time for products and services to market, and allowing for a continuous transformation.
