The 2023 Spanish Super Cup will commence today in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, for the third time. 

The Spanish Super Cup begins on January 11 and ends on January 15, 2023. La Liga and Copa del Rey champions and runners-up from the 2021–2022 seasons are the teams that qualified for the sporting event.

This year, the four qualified teams are:

Madrid Real (2021-22 LaLiga winners)
Barcelona (2021-22 LaLiga runners-up) (2021-22 LaLiga runners-up)
True Betis (2021-22 Copa del Rey winners)
Valencia (2021-22 Copa del Rey runners-up) (2021-22 Copa del Rey runners-up)

Following are the 2023 Spanish Super Cup semifinal matchups: Valencia vs. Real Madrid: Wednesday, January 11, 2 p.m. ET kickoff to take place today at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh. Real Betis and Barcelona will face off on January 12 at 2 p.m. ET.

At King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the three clubs Real Madrid, Valencia, and Real Betis landed on Monday, while Barcelona, the fourth team, arrived yesterday evening.

The final of the Spanish Super Cup 2023 will be held on 15th January 2023, 2 pm ET, where the winners of the two semi-finals will meet for a kickoff. 

With the aim of achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and as one of the "Quality of Life" Program's initiatives, the Kingdom will host this significant event as part of the international sporting tournaments and events taking place in the 2022 Diriyah Season, which are brought by the Ministry of Sport.
