When to Celebrate Diwali?
Diwali falls in the autumn season and its date is not specified, as it falls in the months of October or November, but this year it falls on the 24th of October.
How to Celebrate Diwali?
On the first day, Hindus start their day by showering and worshiping near the sacred basil tree. While on the second day, they massage their bodies with scented oils, decorate their homes with flowers, and eat certain types of sweets known as "Mitai", and then light candlesticks in tight rows.
On the third day, parents and relatives meet and chant the worship of the goddess "Lakshmi", asking her to grant blessings, success, wealth, and health. In the evening, young people and children set off firecrackers.
As for the fourth and fifth days, they are devoted to the exchange of visits between members of the same family.
