Bahrain International Airport is set to welcome a breathtaking new addition—a monumental stained-glass artwork by world-renowned artist Sir Brian Clarke. Titled Concordia, the 578-square-meter masterpiece will be one of the largest stained-glass installations in the region.
A Landmark in Airport Art
The installation, measuring 17 meters in height and 34 meters in width, aligns with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to integrate culture and art into public spaces.

Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, CEO of Bahrain International Airport Company, highlighted the importance of the project, stating that it enhances the airport’s aesthetic appeal while enriching the passenger experience.
A Masterpiece by a Renowned Artist
Sir Brian Clarke, celebrated as a pioneer of modern stained glass, has created iconic works for global landmarks, including collaborations with Zaha Hadid and Norman Foster. His past projects include installations at the Al Faisaliah Center in Riyadh and King Khalid International Airport’s mosque in Saudi Arabia.
