The Bahraini Civil Aviation Affairs Department announced on Monday that flights between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar will resume on May 25th.

The move comes in accordance with what was agreed upon between the concerned authorities in the two brotherly countries.

Bahrain and Qatar restored bilateral diplomatic ties on April 12th.
The suspension of flights began on June 5th, 2017, when Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt decided to sever diplomatic relations with Qatar, and put together a list of several demands for its return.
The Bahraini Civil Aviation Affairs Department did not disclose the number of flights and their proposed dates.
