His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has announced the Eid al-Adha holiday schedule for the public sector.

Official Holiday Dates

According to the issued circular, all ministries and public institutions in Bahrain will be closed on the day of Arafa, Eid al-Adha, and the two days following it. This year, the holiday period will commence on Saturday, June 15, and will continue through Tuesday, June 18.

Impact on Public Sector

This announcement means that public sector employees will enjoy a four-day holiday, starting from the day of Arafa and including Eid al-Adha and the subsequent two days. 

The extended break provides a valuable opportunity for employees to spend time with family and friends during this significant religious festival.
