A delivery worker at the well-known food delivery ‘Talabat’ in Bahrain has been suspended from work after he was caught on camera eating from an order.
"We have recently learned of a video showing a driver mishandling a request. This behavior is absolutely against our health and safety policies," the company said in the statement.

The food delivery company confirmed that the inquiry is still ongoing and the food that the delivery guy ate was from a canceled order.
"During the investigation, it was confirmed that this order was previously canceled. However, the delivery driver was suspended from work immediately until the investigation is completed," the statement said.
Stressing the company's dedication and commitment to persevering strict health and safety rules, the company also stated that such behavior is taken seriously.
The company said it has already reached out to all logistics service providers and delivery drivers to reinforce adherence to their health and safety guidelines.
The company emphasized its dedication to abiding by the health and safety standards and said such an attitude is not acceptable and it has already contacted all delivery personnel and logistics service providers.
