Bahrain celebrated its Olympic champions in grand style at City Centre on August 19, 2024. The Bahrain Olympic Committee organized an electrifying event where fans got to meet and greet the stars who made the nation proud at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Among the athletes celebrated were Winfred Yavi, Salwa Eid Nasser, Ahmed Tajuddin, and Gor Minasyan.

Bahrain’s golden girl, Winfred Yavi, captured a gold medal in the Women’s 3000m steeplechase, dazzling the world with her relentless pace and unmatched determination. Not far behind in the glory stakes, Akhmed Tazhudinov clinched another gold in the Men’s −97kg wrestling, demonstrating power and precision that left his opponents in awe.
The track was also the stage for Salwa Eid Naser, who sprinted her way to a silver medal in the Women’s 400m, adding to Bahrain’s impressive tally. And in a show of sheer strength, Gor Minasyan muscled his way to a bronze in the Men’s +102kg weightlifting, lifting spirits and weights in equal measure.
