According to Muharraq Municipal Council, the fine will be BD300 in accordance with Hygiene Law No. (10) of 2019.
The affected residential zones have been identified in order to control the situation.
The municipality put signs forbidding feeding birds and animals in the streets and public spaces after getting several complaints from the general public. This is because doing so draws flies, rodents, and the rotting of food that should not be fed to animals.

These choices include providing food leftovers to people who can utilize them or dealing with them.
“There are environmentally friendly alternatives that do not cause insects and rodents to gather, such as using dry foods and avoiding wet leftovers,” Musab Al-Sheikh said.
