Bahrain Ministry of Information Affairs announced that it will receive bids from companies willing to operate and manage the Arabic FM radio channel for entertainment in Bahrain.
Running a radio channel requires a combination of business acumen and social responsibility, the ministry said.
The winning bidder will receive a five-year contract to operate the channel 24/7 on 105MHz.
Bidders must have at least three years of experience operating radio channels, as well as a minimum value proposition of BD10,000 per month for five years of the channel’s operation.
Interested parties are required to submit their bids by June 7th with a bond worth BD 4,000 valid for 180 days.
