Two Bahraini ceremonies will be held on April 30th and May 1st to mark International Workers' Day (Labor Day) under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Both the Bahrain Free Labor Unions Federation (Al Hurr) and the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions (GFBTU) will organize the two ceremonies.
“Bahrain applies laws that contribute to promoting a safe work environment that reduces the risks of accidents and occupational diseases to ensure the safety of workers, in addition to adopting best practices aimed at sustaining the stability and growth of the labor market through continuous encouragement of tripartite social dialogue between production parties”, Minister of Labour Jameel bin Muhammed Ali Humaidan said.

A number of outstanding workers nominated by the Al Hurr and the GFBTU will be honored during the ceremonies.
