The projects granted the Golden License are presented by these companies: Citi, Eagle Hills Diyar, Infracorp, Saudi Telecommunication Company, and Whampoa Group.
The five projects have a collective investment of over $1.4 billion into Bahrain and are expected to create more than 1,400 job opportunities within the next three years.
In April, Bahrain introduced a Golden License program to encourage investment and job creation as part of its economic and fiscal reforms.
The program offers a range of benefits and incentives to companies with large-scale investment projects in Bahrain, making it more attractive for them to set up operations in the country.
One of the key benefits of the Golden License program is the priority allocation of land for investments, which can be a significant factor for businesses when deciding where to set up their operations.
The program also offers streamlined access to government services, including business licensing and building permit approval, which can help to save businesses time and money. This can be particularly beneficial in attracting investments and creating jobs in Bahrain, making it easier for both local and international companies to set up.
