Launched by Masar Group with backing from Mumtalakat (Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund), the new service connects some of the island’s hottest waterfront spots — and yes, the boats are fully air-conditioned. The big reveal even had the Minister of Tourism and Mumtalakat’s CEO on deck to celebrate!
The goal? Boost tourism, make daily commutes a bit more fun, and align with Bahrain’s long-term plans for economic growth and sustainability.
Built locally, each boat can carry up to 28 passengers and comes stocked with drinks and snacks to keep your mini sea adventure extra chill. The water taxis will stop at six key locations including The Avenues, Four Seasons Hotel, and Sa’ada Jetty.
And booking? Super easy. Just hop on the Masar app, reserve your spot, and you’re ready to cruise!
With sunny weather, gorgeous views, and smooth rides, Bahrain’s water taxi is definitely making waves — and this is just the beginning.
