Schools across Bahrain will open at 8:00 AM during Ramadan, the government confirmed, dismissing a parliamentary suggestion to push the start time to 9:00 AM. Officials assured that they will closely monitor any difficulties students may face during the holy month.
Revised Bus Waiting Times Announced
Alongside the confirmed school timings, the government has also set new morning bus waiting schedules. According to an official statement:
- Primary and intermediate students will wait at 7:10 AM.
- Secondary students will wait at 6:55 AM.
- Vocational, technical, and religious institute students will wait at 6:45 AM.
Decision Based on Consultations
Authorities determined these timings after discussions with key stakeholders, including parent councils and education experts. Specialized committees reviewed the potential impact of shifting school hours and assessed logistical concerns related to public school bus operations.
