Bahrain will be competing in nine sports at the 15th Arab Sports Games, set to be hosted in Algeria from July 5th to 15th, the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) revealed.

Bahraini athletes will be participating in athletics, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, sailing, swimming, cycling, wheelchair basketball, and athletics for people of determination.
The Games will be held under the theme "With Sports We Progress and Compete, in Algeria We Meet".
The Arab Sports Games will feature about 6,000 athletes from several Arab countries, participating in 23 sports in all, including three for people of determination.
The tournament is held under the supervision of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees. It aims at cementing the unity of Arab youth.
Bahrain captured 38 medals, including 12 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze during the last edition of the Games in 2011. The national team finished ninth overall on the final medal table.
