With the end of Ramadan nearing, officials in the Kingdom are urging individuals and drivers to comply with regulations and exercise increased vigilance when approaching mosques for prayer.

The video emphasized that violating regulations and parking indiscriminately in front of mosques during prayer times can lead to traffic congestion, blockages, and road closures, negatively impacting other drivers, particularly those in residential areas or near major roads.

As a result, during Ramadan prayer times, the number of traffic patrols around prayer grounds and mosques has been increased, and officers have been instructed to step up enforcement efforts against drivers who commit various infractions.

Officials have reported that certain worshippers engage in double parking and block entire lanes, park in exit pathways without regard for other drivers, or park on sidewalks.

The General Traffic Administration has reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring the utmost convenience for road users during Ramadan by organizing traffic flow, mitigating traffic congestion, managing parking at mosques, facilitating the entry and exit of worshippers' vehicles, and providing aid to the public in accessing and departing from mosques.
