Bahraini bodybuilders won a total of 12 medals during the first day of the 4th West Asian Bodybuilding Championship.

The championship kicked off on Friday, August 18th at the Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall in the University of Bahrain (UoB) Sakhir Campus and it is running until Saturday, August 19th.
The medals included seven gold medals, two silver and three bronze ones.
Gold medalists are: Abdullah Isa Ahmed, Ali Ibrahim, Ali Ibrahim, Ahmed Al-Thawadi, Abdulrahman Bushaqr, Ali Yasser, and Mohammed Naji Ali.
Meanwhile, Sayed Hussain Juma and Abbas Najer snatched silver medals, while Mohammed Jaleel, Abdulla Mansoor, and Mohammed Bukhallaf clinched bronze medals.
