Travel enthusiasts will be happy to know that Bahrainis will be able to enjoy visa-free travel to Sri Lanka from Oct. 1.

Sri Lanka has introduced a six-month pilot program under which visitors from 34 countries, including Bahrain, will be able to enjoy a 30-day visa-free stay in the country.
The country has introduced this visa-free travel scheme to boost tourism and revitalize the Sri Lankan economy.
Bahraini tourists will get to enjoy Sri Lanka's iconic landmarks including the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Galle Fort and Old Town, and Abhayagiri Dagoba.
The visa-free scheme will allow Bahraini tourists to explore the country's iconic landmarks and scenic landscapes as well as enjoy the local culture to their hearts' content.
