The prices of a variety of basic foods have lately decreased or stabilized as stated by the Industry and Commerce Ministry.
It claimed in a statement on Tuesday that prices have decreased on goods such as cooking oil, sugar, frozen chicken, rice, infant formula, and fruits and vegetables. It continued, stating that the trend can be attributed to the ministry's policies intended to reduce costs for businesses. "Supermarkets and hypermarkets are offering various discounts on products like cooking oil, cheese, milk, flour, sugar, fruit and vegetables, which gives the consumer affordable options," it added.
