Superstar Beyonce marked her first live performance in four years with a dazzling concert at the grand reveal of Dubai’s hottest new luxury resort, Atlantis The Royal, on Saturday night.

The 41-year-old music icon took the stage in a stunning yellow gown amid an extravagant light show with a rendition of her hit “At Last”. In another surprise, Beyonce was joined on stage by popular Lebanese dance group The Mayyas who recently won America’s Got Talent competition. The Mayyas joined Beyonce in a set that extended a few songs.

Atlantis The Royal Grand Reveal Weekend

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, marked the weekend with a visit to Atlantis The Royal on Saturday morning. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed noted that the hotel is an “architectural masterpiece that will boost the tourism sector”.

Top celebrities and that attended that got to enjoy the exclusive opening weekend and attend the concert were Kendall Jenner, One Directions’s Liam Payne and his girlfriend Kate Cssidy, Rebel Wilson, Halle Bailey, Ellen Pompeo, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan and boxer Amir Khan, among others.

Arab and Dubai-based celebrities, public figures and influencers like Lojain Omran, Enjy Kiwan, Huda and Mona Kattan, Mahira Abdelaziz, singer Khaled Selim, Kris Fade and The Real Housewives of Dubai star Chanel Ayan.

The hour-long concert was attended by several A-listers and VIPs from across the world who came to see Beyonce perform and attend the glitzy opening of Atlantis The Royal, which included several events and was capped by a firework show that lit the Dubai sky and a show by Swedish House Mafia that went well into the night.
