Due to the coronavirus outbreak all beaches had been shut for a few months to curb the spread. With more time spent inside closed doors, the longing to go outside increased with time. Back in June, the UAE gorvernment announced the opening of beaches with important guidelines issued to beach-goers.
The Dubai Municipality on Sunday, October 25, 2020 announced that it will allow camping with caravans on the Jebel Ali beach.

All applicants will need to show a copy of trailer ownership, along with their Emirates ID , passport copy and a permit which must be obtained online for a period of 30 days through the Dubai Municipality website.
The permit issuing service will remain free of cost on the new site as well as part of Dubai’s scheme for caravan camping.
The municipality also said “Once the applicant enters the necessary data and documents online, the permit is issued immediately and directly, which allows the holder to camp in the specified location for 30 days,” it added.
