DFC and Careem Offer Discounts and Entertaining Performances
Doha Festival City (DFC), Qatar's exclusive international option for dining, entertainment, and shopping, has announced an exclusive partnership with Careem, the region's top multi-service app, and the country's first ride-hailing platform.
Up to December 31, the partnership, which began on November 20, will provide visitors to Doha Festival City with exclusive services and promotions.
Visitors to Doha Festival City will save 10% on up to four rides with Careem to and from the mall as a result of this partnership. When booking a ride through the app, users must enter the promo code "DFC22" to take advantage of the promotion.
Customers can further improve their experience by choosing a convenient pick-up spot at one of Doha Festival City's main gates.
According to Robert Hall, general manager of Doha Festival City: "We are excited to work with Careem, a pioneer in the ride-hailing industry and the top multi-service platform in the region, to provide our consumers an exclusive option. The start of the international football tournament being held in Qatar and the holiday season will both bring about significant benefits for our guests."
Antonio Al Asmar, Careem’s GM for the GCC, stated: "We're happy to work with Doha Festival City and provide our clients in Qatar a seamless ride-hailing experience to and from one of Qatar's densest areas. Through this partnership, we will be able to better serve the daily commuters, business travelers, families, and students who frequently book rides to DFC.
He added: "We've also extended Careem's fleet size to ensure a frictionless experience for clients in Doha, including DFC visitors, in response to the surge in demand leading up to the World Cup."
The mall's Centre Court will host a variety of top-notch live performances and football-related events from November 17 until December 18 from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. daily in an effort to provide visitors with an exciting experience.
A diverse lineup of multicultural performances, including traditional dances, juggling and balancing routines, magic shows, a robot show, and freestyling, will be presented on the Centre Court's main stage. A large local and international audience of all ages will be served by the three shows, which will begin at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m.
The Mall will also be bustling with additional indoor events and parades. Additionally, there will be contests with lots of prizes to be won.
Visitors can take use of Doha Festival City Arena, the Mall's outdoor lively zone featuring a variety of football-focused activations, as well as match viewings and exclusive F&B offers, outside the Luxury section.
Doha Festival City promises to continuously take the required health and safety precautions throughout the mall in accordance with the preventative measures outlined by the State of Qatar to restrict the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and to maintain a safe shopping environment for everyone.
This includes a full weekly mall disinfection treatment, diligent cleaning and sanitization efforts throughout mall business hours, and the installation of 127 hand-washing stations in places with frequently touched surfaces.
