Such an amazing and meaningful festival with a large symbol engraved in peoples’ hearts, many Hindus, Jain, Sikh, and Buddhists of Indian or non-Indian origin celebrate this amazing festival, and Diwali is the third day of that festival and for this year it marks today 4th of Nov 2021.

How do people celebrate Diwali?

During the third day of the festival, people go on to wear their new beautiful and colorful clothes, then head to temples for worshipping, as its’ name indicates people do spread lights all around the house and gather with their family, friends, and their loved ones to celebrate and exchange gifs, such as jewelry, items for the home, or any essentials needed, of course, the same as any religious event celebrated around the world, food plays a huge part where people make specific dishes that indicates their origin.

Celebrating Diwali during Covid-19

Recently as we are still currently facing the pandemic, and the rise of deaths because of Covid-19, many states in India requested a ban on using Fireworks during Diwali and minimizing interaction as much as possible ahead of this event, such measures were necessary to ensure that covid-19 cases do not surge after the festival is done.

Celebrating Diwali holds religious meaning for a lot of people, so we At UaeMoments hope that people living in UAE celebrating this event have a wonderful time and create amazing memories.
