Dubai Residents Aged 40 Can Now Register for COVID-19 Vaccine

The Dubai vaccination campaign is now including Dubai residents aged 40 and above.
Earlier in February, health authorities announced that priority of taking COVID-19 vaccine was given to elderly residents. With 61.41% of elderly residents taking the jab, this totaled the number of vaccinated residents to 46.61%.
For those aged 40, having a residency visa issued from Dubai is a must for vaccine registration.
This on the other hand doesn’t apply to residents over 60. Senior residents can take register for the vaccine regardless of the emirate which issued the visa.
Meanwhile, priority is still given to those who suffer from chronic diseases and People of Determination category and GCC country nationals who hold an Emirates ID.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) are offering Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech for those 16 and above in addition to Oxford-AstraZeneca to those 18 and above.
