According to the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Eastern Health has worked on plans to prepare and raise readiness for the activities of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
These preparations aim to confront any potential danger that may occur, in order to evaluate and prepare the necessary plans for a rapid and effective response by holding preparatory meetings with the participating agencies and departments concerned with Eastern Health to distribute tasks and ensure readiness.

Eastern Health confirmed the readiness of private and governmental hospitals in the region in terms of equipment and manpower to receive health events and epidemic diseases and to provide and support the region with all the items of readiness from the strategic stock, including personal protection and infection control tools to confront cases of infectious diseases.
Moreover, Salwa Hospital was equipped and the capacity of the medical staff was increased, in addition, doctors in various specialties, including injuries, accidents, critical care, and multiple specialties, were contracted, and a mobile CT scan was provided in the center to serve patients.
