Saudi Arabia's Red Sea Film Foundation supported the Egyptian film 'Aisha Can't Fly Away', which has made history at the 2024 Venice International Film Festival.

Morad Mostafa's feature debut became the first Egyptian film to win the La Biennale di Venezia Prize at Final Cut in Venice.
The prize includes $5,000 to help with post-production and aid in market access. The film has already won a total of five awards at the 81st edition of the film festival.
The film is about a 26-year-old Somali caregiver named Aisha who lives in a neighborhood in Cairo inhabited by African immigrants. However, Aisha gets involved with an Egyptian gang which leads her to steal from her elderly patients.
Other films supported by the Red Sea Film Foundation that won awards in the La Biennale di Venezia Prize at Final Cut include 'My Father's Scent', 'In This Darkness I See You', and 'Ancestral Visions of the Future'.
