Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi landed in Saudi Arabia on Thursday to join the annual Hajj pilgrimage, as announced by the Egyptian Presidency's spokesperson.
President Sisi's Hajj journey starts in Medina, where he will offer prayers at the Prophet's Mosque and visit the Prophet's grave. Following his stay in Medina, he will travel to Mecca to perform the Hajj rituals.
Hajj Rituals Commence
Saudi Arabian authorities confirmed that this year's Hajj rituals begin today, June 14, 2024.
