The Council of Ministers and Minister of Interior, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, amended their decision considering Ehteraz application today, October 26, 2022, at Amiri Diwan, making it obligatory only when entering healthcare facilities starting from November 1, 2022.

"Amending its decision issued at the 19th ordinary meeting of 2022 held on May 18, 2022, regarding the compulsory activation and verification of EHTERAZ application when leaving the house, the green code of the application will be verified only when entering health facilities," stated the Cabinet in its meeting.

The Ministry added that this decision shall be effective as of Tuesday, November 1, 2022, until further notice.

The Ministry also stated that it will continue to implement the Council's decision issued at its regular meeting (36) for the year 2022 on October 19, 2022, requiring all citizens, residents, and visitors to wear masks only if they are inside health facilities, and requiring all employees and workers whose nature of work requires presence in places closed doors and communication with customers to wear masks during their working time.
