Emirates To Operate Return Flights to Dubai from the UK

Emirates announced that it will operate return flights to Dubai for UAE residents who are stranded in the UK starting Tuesday.
Travelers can expect one-way flights from London Heathrow and Manchester, while flights from Glasgow and Birmingham remain suspended.
All direct flights got suspended last week between the two countries after the UK added the UAE to it’s travel ‘red list’.
As announced by the UK government, direct flights between UAE & UK have been temporarily suspended. Travelers in the UAE with British or Irish passports can return to the UK but must isolate for 10 days on arrival. Meanwhile, travelers to the UAE will be taken straight to the quarantine hotels by February 8.
According to The National “Emirates remains committed to serving customers in the UK and will reinstate outbound passenger operations from 2 February," said a spokeswoman for the airline.
"Initially, this will include a daily flight from London Heathrow and four weekly from Manchester. Services from Birmingham and Glasgow will continue to be cargo-only.
The UK has also posted a list of countries from which travelers would have to use British quarantine hotels for 10 days.
It includes 30 high-risk countries listed over fears concerning Covid-19 variants are in circulation. These include Portugal and countries in South America and large parts of Africa.
