UAE celebrates its women, culture and even its children. As today marks the Emirati Children’s Day, under the name of “right to play” to remind everyone the importance of play for children.
Children sometime forget to do so and carry weight more than needed, also in some cases could face some kind of abuse, and so it is said in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and in alignment with the country’s Child Rights Law (Wadeema), the child’s right to be just a child and play, therefore this is celebrated on the 15th of March as a reminder and as reassurance.
The Emirati Children’s Day does not only support that, but it also recognizes the leadership and the even efforts put for children’s rights whether it is psychological, social or educational needs.
It is the child’s right to be and act like a child, play and be in a good psychological state.
