Spain made it to the semifinals by defeating Germany in the EURO 2024 quarterfinal on Friday, Jan. 5.

Dani Olmo scored a goal in the 51st minute and Mikel Merino scored a goal in the 119th minute, helping his team win against Germany which scored only one goal.
German player Florian Wirtz scored a goal in the 89th minute, tying the teams, but Merino saved the day with his goal.
