Saudi fried chicken chain Al Baik has been a huge hit since it opened up in Dubai Mall while people stand in long queues to try the taste. Recently, the chain opened a branch in Expo 2020 Dubai at the Saudi Pavilion and the same rules apply!
Journalist Ashleigh Stewart tweeted “The longest queue I have seen today on Day 1 of #expo2020 is for Al Baik, the Saudi fried chicken chain,”.

“We are thrilled to have #ALBAIK at #Expo2020” wrote the brand on Instagram. “We are located in the Opportunity District between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pavilion and the UAE pavilion and can’t wait to see you and serve you there! #UAE #Dubai #ALBAIKinUAE” they continued.
The restaurant originally opened with a partial menu of fillet sandwiches, nuggets and shrimp, and slowly added each piece, finally adding Broasted Chicken last month.
The brand opened more than 50 years ago in KSA, and has since developed the kind of cult following that few fast food places get.
