A tragic gas cylinder explosion led to the collapse of a two-story building in Arad, Bahrain, resulting in two fatalities. Authorities are still working to rescue any remaining survivors from the rubble.
Deadly Incident Shakes Arad
The explosion occurred at 7:40 PM yesterday, causing severe damage to a building that housed a restaurant and a commercial store. Emergency teams rushed to the scene following a distress call to the main operations room. Major General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, stated, "We hope that no more injuries or fatalities occur. Our staff are still searching under the debris."

Casualties and Rescue Operations

- Two people have died in the incident.
- Six individuals sustained injuries and are being treated at King Hamad Hospital.
- Two people were successfully rescued from the rubble.
- 38 Civil Defense personnel and seven fire engines were deployed to manage the rescue efforts and secure the area.
