The famous fashion and style magazine GQ Middle East has named Palestinian journalist Motaz Azaiza as their 'Man of the Year'.

Editor-in-chief Ahmad Ali Swaid shared the cover on his Instagram page.
Swaid stated in the caption that the Palestinian journalist was honored "in dedication for those whose fearlessness remains unmatched."
The editor described Azaiza as someone who "reminds us that no matter who we are or where we’re from, it’s us – ordinary people, men, and women – who have the power to enact the very change that we want to see."
Various media personalities have spoken about dedicated some words to Azaiza for the GQ Middle East issue.
Law professor and intellectual Khaled Beydoun, British rapper and activist Lowkey, and Huda Beauty's founder Huda Kuttan are some of the names that have contributed to the issue.
Who is Motaz Azaiza?
Motaz Azaiza is a Palestinian photographer and journalist who is covering the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
He has shed light on the mass destruction that has taken place in Gaza because of Israel's attacks and he continues to highlight the suffering of the Palestinian people in this war.
