This compassionate proposal aligns with a previously floated idea by the Northern Municipal Council to insure utility accounts. The insurance, akin to bank loan protection plans, could safeguard families from financial distress in times of loss.
With over BD128 million still owed to the Electricity and Water Affairs (EWA), this initiative isn’t just about financial strategy; it’s about humanity. It seeks to spare grieving families further anguish, offering a dignified resolution during their darkest times.
