Max, HBO Max and Discovery+'s new combined streaming platform, announced plans to develop a 'Harry Potter' TV series.
The development of the TV series was confirmed by Warner Bros. Discovery during a presentation for press and investors in Los Angeles.
J.K. Rowling, the author of the 'Harry Potter' book series, will be the executive producer of the TV show and the series will feature a new cast.
Warner Bros. Discovery shared that the series will be running for a decade because each season of the series will be based on each book from the original novel series written by Rowling.
Bringing everyone's beloved fantasy series to TV has created a lot of buzz and expectations are running high because of the global success of the 'Harry Potter' movie franchise and the 'Fantastic Beasts' films.
