Bahrain International Airport recorded a busy start to 2025, with more than 2 million passengers passing through its terminals between January and March. The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications reported that around 1 million passengers arrived, while another 1 million departed during the first quarter.
Transit activity also stayed strong, with about 12,800 travelers passing through Bahrain on stopovers, and more than 1 million transfer passengers moving between flights at the airport.

Flights Take Off and Land Almost Evenly
During the same period, the airport managed nearly 23,635 flight movements, with 11,819 planes landing and 11,816 planes taking off.
