As a tribute to the late father Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Vice-President Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared a sentimental video on social for his 30th death anniversary.
Passed away at the age of 78, Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum had ruled Dubai for 32 years from 1958 till his death in 1990.
Sheikh Mohammed, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, also tweeted “He was not very talkative but thought a lot," adding "His day began before anyone else and his dreams went beyond his years."He loved his wife, Latifa, and he loved Dubai. He was faithful to the Union. He went quietly after he filled the world with the sound of his achievements and this continues."

Known for establishing Dubai as a commercial centre, Sheikh Rashid has also embarked on Dubai's first mega-projects, such as dredging the Creek to allow larger ships to enter and also built the Jebel Ali Port in the late 1970s, while overseeing the opening of the largest building in the region at the time, Dubai World Trade Centre.
#رحيل_راشد_٣٠عاماً pic.twitter.com/OYhDddTA0V
