Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Palestinians can create a state in Saudi Arabia during a Channel 14 interview on Thursday, Feb. 7.

He said, "The Saudis can create a Palestinian state in Saudi Arabia; they have a lot of land over there."

When asked about having a Palestinian state as a normalization condition, he said that he "would not make an agreement that would endanger the State of Israel".

The interview was conducted during the Israeli Prime Minister's visit to Washington, US.

During his visit, he had a joint press conference with US President Donald Trump who announced a plan to take over Gaza and to relocate the Palestinians living there.

President Trump's proposed plan was condemned by nations including Saudi Arabia, which reinforced that it will not establish ties with Israel without a Palestinian state.

Former head of Saudi Arabia's intelligence Prince Turki Al Faisal was interviewed by CNN and he strongly condemned President Trump's plans.

Before the press conference in Washington, foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and four other Arab nations had sent a joint letter to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, opposing plans to relocate Gazans.
