The General Directorate of Passports in Saudi Arabia (Jawazat) confirmed that citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, who wish to travel through Saudi Arabia to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, must enter the Kingdom through its international ports with the passport registered in the “Hayya” platform.
The Directorate added that, with regard to departure through the Salwa port, it is necessary to abide by the regulation of vehicle entry according to the categories announced by the Qatari side.

Jawazat noted that citizens, residents, and tourists who have a Hayya card and wish to travel to Qatar to attend the World Cup and its events can contact the Unified Security Operations Center (911) to find out any relevant instructions.
