In the same meeting, Katara and Estithmar Holding signed a contract. Henrik Christiansen, CEO of Estithmar Holding, and Ramez Al-Khayyat, vice chairman of Estithmar Holding, were in attendance.
Professor Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, the general manager of Katara, was on hand to represent the company.
According to Al Sulaiti, "This project, which is integrated with the other Katara sustainable cultural and tourism initiatives, is considered one of the most cutting-edge tourism projects, keeping pace with what the country is witnessing from enormous achievements and tireless efforts to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022."
Christiansen noted that the Katara Hills LXR Hotels & Resorts project stands out for its design, which combines the stunning Katara landscapes with modern architecture, and claimed that the new project has the potential to enhance Qatar's tourism industry.
What to see
15 opulent villas with private pools will make up the new Katara Hills LXR Hotels & Resorts project. However, that isn't the best aspect.
Each villa will be placed in a special location above the Katara Hills so that guests may enjoy enticing views of the lush surroundings and the well-known Katara Beach.
The resort will also provide a variety of amenities, such as a 5-star spa, a lavish restaurant, and a dedicated service team for each visitor while they are there.
From one window, the project promises to provide a tranquil haven amidst the enormous green spaces scattered around the Katara Hills.
The town offers visitors the chance to participate in a variety of year-round sports, arts, and cultural events that include the idea of sustainable cultural tourism.
Al Maha Island, the much-anticipated leisure and tourism hotspot, is scheduled to open its doors to the public in November, according to officials, who also announced the launch of the new project.
The biggest entertainment venue in Qatar, Al Maha Island, has scheduled an opening
According to Marwan Dimas, Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of Estithmar Holding, the 230,000 sqm complex will welcome visitors and all inhabitants around two weeks before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 kickoff.
Al Maha will offer the best in fun and entertainment for visitors to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Dimas said on Al Kass TV on Friday. "Al Maha will be one of the ultimate entertainment destinations for visitors to the Qatar 2022 World Cup," he added.
Both initiatives take place as Qatar gets ready to welcome everyone traveling to the Gulf nation to watch the FIFA World Cup in November.
