Four-year-old mini astronaut in the making Daisy was spotted publicly for the first time as she watched her mom, Katy Perry, blast off on a historic Blue Origin spaceflight. And yes — the cuteness levels were sky-high.

As Katy, 40, joined the all-female crew that included Lauren Sánchez and Gayle King for an 11-minute suborbital journey, her fiancé Orlando Bloom, 48, and their daughter Daisy were right there in the crowd. Dressed in a tiny astronaut suit, Daisy was caught on camera beaming as the capsule landed, sweetly shouting: “My mama!”

The Blue Origin launch marked a major moment for both Perry and space history — but honestly, little Daisy kind of stole the show.

A rare glimpse of the Perry-Bloom fam

Katy and Orlando have kept Daisy out of the public eye since her birth in August 2020, rarely sharing any photos of her face. But Blue Origin’s footage gave fans their first proper look at the energetic toddler, who’s clearly already proud of her superstar mom.

Katy’s tribute to Daisy didn’t end there — she took a daisy flower with her onboard and held it high above her head after landing. Then she kissed it, bent down, and kissed the ground — a moment that instantly went viral.

“Daisies are common flowers but they grow through any condition… through cement, through cracks, through walls,” she explained.

“They are resilient, they are powerful, they are strong... To me, flowers are God’s smile.”

“Second to being a mom”

After the flight, Katy told reporters that going to space came second only to motherhood in her list of life’s biggest highs.

“That’s all my love right there,” she said of Daisy. “And I have to surrender and trust that the universe is going to take care of me… and my family.”

She added that she wanted to model courage and fearlessness for her daughter — and honestly? Mission accomplished.

A soulmate in a spacesuit

Katy has never been shy about her love for Daisy, calling her “my soulmate” and “my best friend.”

“Sometimes you’re looking for your soulmate in a partner… but for me, it came in the form of Daisy,” she told The Sun.

Every night, Katy says she asks her daughter: “Will you find me in every lifetime?” and Daisy always replies: “Yes.”

So, what’s Daisy like?

According to Katy, Daisy’s a perfect blend of both parents — Orlando’s brows, her mom’s eyes, and a mega-personality to match.

“She is a combination of both me and her father, which we are — fearless with lots of chutzpah and just big characters,” Perry told People.

She’s also a mini pop fan. “She loves music, and she loves mom’s songs,” Katy added earlier this year.

While her public debut might’ve been unplanned, Daisy’s appearance at the Blue Origin launch was a picture-perfect moment — and a reminder that for all the galactic goals, Katy’s heart is firmly on Earth with her daughter.
