Norris was followed by three-time world champion Max Verstappen in second place and by Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc in fourth place.

Before his win in Miami, Norris had a record of 15 podium finishes with eight of those second-place finishes.

Verstappen was leading the race as usual, however, when he pitted in lap 24, McLaren's Oscar Piastri took the lead.

Piastri also ended up in the pits four laps later, which allowed Norris to take the lead and eventually win the race since his pitstop happened during a safety car on lap 30, giving him a great advantage.

Upon his win, Norris said, "For me to prove those people (online) wrong and prove (to) the people who didn't think I could go out and do it, it's going to be an even bigger smile on my face today, so I thank all of them."

We wish the McLaren driver more victories in his F1 career!
