According to The National, The Department of Health Abu Dhabi said on Sunday that the centre would resume seven-day service from Sunday, February 21.

The department said it would call residents scheduled to take the second dose this weekend, to reschedule their appointments this week while dose two of the vaccine is available during weekdays [only].

The priority group to be vaccinated is people over-50s and people with disabilities are the priority for the next five weeks.

As a result, the vaccine push slowed to about 50,000 shots a day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, although the UAE's campaign remains near the world's best.
