The ban means that people will not be able to share passwords with other Netflix users outside of their homes.
Netflix will keep track of the WiFi network and IP address of devices used by Netflix users to stop the sharing process.
To add an extra user from outside of the household, the user has to pay an additional cost, which is the only solution in this situation.
Another Gulf country that password-sharing has been banned in on Jul. 12 is the UAE.
Password-sharing has also been banned in India on Jul. 12.
The ban on this feature was previously implemented by the streaming platform in more than a 100 countries including the US, Britain, France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Mexico, and Brazil.
