In a significant push towards digital transformation, Beyon Group has announced its ambitious plans to develop a “Digital City” in Hamala, Bahrain.

This expansive 380,000-square-meter project was unveiled at the Gateway Gulf Forum 2024, held at the Four Seasons Bahrain, signaling a major advancement in Bahrain’s journey toward Vision 2030.

Beyon signed a development agreement with Edamah, the real estate subsidiary of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, to lead the construction of this high-tech city beginning in 2025. Designed to support Bahrain’s Vision 2030, the Digital City will serve as a hub for advanced technology, sustainable infrastructure, and seamless connectivity, setting a new benchmark for smart urban environments in the region.

Andrew Kvalseth, CEO of Beyon Group, shared that the city will bring together modern amenities, sustainable living options, and an inclusive community model to create an innovative urban experience. Kvalseth highlighted that the project will focus on high connectivity and sustainability, aligning with Bahrain’s goal to become a leader in digital innovation and attract regional investment.

The Digital City in Hamala is envisioned to feature a diverse range of real estate offerings, from residential units to commercial spaces, all connected through a smart ecosystem. Once completed, it is expected to enhance Bahrain’s status as a technologically advanced nation while creating significant investment opportunities that drive sustainable growth for the economy.
